SpaceRocket ("we", "our", or "the site") is a rocket launch and space event tracking web application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when visiting the site.
Information We Collect
We do not require accounts or registration, and we do not directly collect personally identifiable information. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and operational purposes.
Cookies and Advertising
We do not currently serve advertising or set tracking cookies. We may enable third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future; if we do, vendors like Google would use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can always opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info/choices, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at Google's Privacy & Terms for partner sites. This page will be updated before any advertising is enabled.
Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (page views, popular content). This data is used solely to improve the site and is never sold to third parties.
Third-Party Data Sources
Launch and event data is provided by TheSpaceDevs (Launch Library 2), news content by the Spaceflight News API (SNAPI), and astronomy imagery and near-Earth asteroid data by NASA (api.nasa.gov, public domain). Rocket overview texts are original summaries written from public facts including Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0, attributed on the page), and interactive 3D models are embedded from Sketchfab under Creative Commons licenses (CC BY 4.0, attributed below each model). When you follow outbound links to third-party sites, their own privacy policies apply.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
