Zhuque-3 vs Falcon 9

LandSpace's Zhuque-3 is the most openly Falcon-9-inspired rocket in China's commercial sector: a stainless-steel, methane-fuelled two-stage launcher whose first stage is designed from the outset for propulsive recovery and rapid reuse — the same architecture SpaceX proved with the Falcon 9 Block 5. Zhuque-3 reached orbit on its maiden flight in December 2025, although the first-stage recovery attempt did not succeed, underscoring how hard the landing half of reuse is.
